Buenos Aires, November 28 (NA) -- The Naval Hydrographic Service (SHN) issued a flood alert for the Río de la Plata due to a Sudestada, which will affect the coast of the City of Buenos Aires and the northern and southern areas of the Buenos Aires metropolitan area during the early hours of Saturday. According to the Argentine News Agency, the peak of the flood is expected at 2:30 AM on Saturday, November 29. The river level measured at the Port of San Fernando is expected to reach 2.90 meters in height. The predicted reference levels in San Fernando will be replicated approximately one hour later in Tigre in the first section of the delta, with the potential for flooding in coastal streets, areas of Rincón de Milberg, and other points in the region.
